How long will it take to develop a website?
- 1 to 2 weeks for a Starter package
- Up to 1 month for a Business package
- 2 to 3 months for a Premium package
While we strive to launch faster than this, custom projects can present unexpected challenges, so we'd prefer to suprise you with an early launch, than disappoint with an unrealistic estimate.
Do we support the site after launch?
Yes, all websites come with basic support for 1 month after launch.
During that time we'll show you how to update your site, make fixes and tweaks, and show you how to monitor your analytics.
Customers that want more extensive support, can purchase a recurring support subscription detailed on the pricing page.
How much do add-on features cost?
Add-on features are any feature not included in the initial quote, or not included in the packages as described on the pricing page.
Simple additions may be added for no extra cost (such as a social media feed or Google Maps embed), but features not included in the package that require significant extra work from us, can be expected to incur costs proportional to how complex the feature is.
Add-on features generally cost less the earlier they're requested.
Are there any recurring costs?
Not for Starter packages, but Business and Premium packages will incur minimal hosting costs. The good news is that we build sites in a way that minimizes many of these costs.
Domain names usually have a small yearly fee. This is unavoidable, but we can still help you find you the best deal for your domain name.
Hosting is free for Starter packages.
Business packages cost €25 per month to host. If your site requires features that use more resources than this budget allows, we'll let you know about it before adding them.
Premium packages start at €75 per month, but could increase as the website grows in popularity, depending on factors such as how many simultaneous visitors there are and whether they can login and upload content.
HTTPS / TLS certificates are free for all packages.
Payment processing costs may apply if you accept credit/debit card payments for products sold through your site, which tend to cost about 3% of each transaction.
Although these costs are not imposed by us, we can help minimize them by helping you choose a suitable payment service provider.
How strict are the page limits?
Not very, they're mostly a guide to the amount of pages we can manually design, code and test for each package/price.
We may add more at no additional cost, if they don't require much additional design/development work or functionality. Otherwise, we may ask you to purchase them as an add-on feature.
Standard "boilerplate" text pages with little to no unique design, such as [Terms & Conditions] or [Privacy Statement], do not count toward any page limits.
Does a renovation cost the same as a new site?
No, it will cost less, but the specific price is determined on a case-by-case basis.
If you have existing logos, layouts, graphics, copy, code, domains, etc., that will make the project cheaper, but the discount will depend on the quality of those existing assets and how much work is needed to bring them up to standard.
